Finally, we board our Cathay Pacific flight to Hong Kong - all 14 hours worth.
I have one suitcase packed - and inventoried. That is the one going ahead. Sure hope I see those clothes April 12. If not, I won't be dressing up for any formal dinners.

Seven days until departure!!
In exactly 7 days we will have lift-off from Dulles to LAX. Then dinner with our friends Joyce & Tom at one of the airport's many dining venues.
Finally, we board our Cathay Pacific flight to Hong Kong - all 14 hours worth.

Port of Call: Beijing on May 1
This port is very straight forward - walk the wall!! Joyce, my friend from cruise critic, is organizing this trip as well as the one the following day to Dalian. Both of her tours are with Jeff, our friend from Beijing Discovery Tours.
Sadly, we are in Beijing on May 1. They are warning us of huge traffic jams and if possible, millions of visitors to downtown Beijing. So sadly, we had to put off a trip to the city itself and will just visit the Great Wall at Huangyaguan (at Yellow Cliff Pass)
